The family, who have a 7 and 5 year old, are looking for someone energetic who will become not only a friend and playmate to the children but will also take charge of planning trips out and about, and home-based activities such as baking and crafts. As the children won’t be attending school during this time, the family wish for the children to undertake some educational learning during this time too, such as reading, or putting maths into practice during outings. As such, candidates must have a good level of initiative and creativity. Standard nursery duties such as tidying away toys, preparing lunches, and folding children’s laundry are included in this role.

The role will last for 6 weeks from 22nd June 2026, or for 8 weeks, should the successful candidate wish to travel to the Canary Islands for the final fortnight, with the family. Candidates are required to have an enhanced DBS certificate and ample experience with children of a similar age. Further qualifications would be a bonus. The rate of pay will be £22 gross p/h, in line with relevant experience and qualifications.
