This will be a permanent role of approximately 40 hours per week, typically comprising two 8am–6pm days, one extended day staying until 10/11pm once a week, and occasional weekend morning support. Mum is open to structuring the week as three full days plus one late evening. Hours will remain consistent throughout the year, even when child begins nursery two days per week in October.

The position is sole charge and focused entirely on childcare and nursery duties, including supporting routines, preparing meals, organising activities, child’s laundry and tidying child-related areas. This is a nanny role rather than a housekeeping position.

Mum is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and committed nanny who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and is keen to build a long-term bond. An interest such as music, creativity, or outdoor activities would be a lovely addition. Driving is not essential, though a bonus.

Salary will be in the region of £16–£20 gross per hour, depending on experience. An enhanced DBS is required, and paediatric first aid would be preferred.
